Patented Exo skeletal flexible spines give the glove a futuristic look and style. The technology within seems years ahead of the times too; the spines cover the vulnerable knuckles, fingers and thumb and give full unrestricted movement, preparing you for anything the future may throw at you. The flexible spines feed into a comfortable gel-lined armoured metapod that covers the metacarpals offering additional protection to the back of the hand.
On the palm, the tried and tested Scaphoid Protection System (SPS) is enhanced by additional sliding systems on all sides, which ensure -in the event of an accident- the majority of contact with the ground are sliders and not leather. An additional inner cuff slider works to support and enhance the SPS sliding effect. Super strong and tear resistant Kangaroo leather covers the inside palm and fingers.
The Handroid carries the most technical Knox Boa lacing system yet, allowing precision adjustment around the whole cuff. The wrist system acts as an external brace and tightens equally from all sides. All you have to do is dial in the right torque for you. To release, simply pull the dial. ?Deep in the heart of Cumbria something strange is going on involving motorcycle gloves. They?re being tampered with, modified, emerging from the workshop with attachments and gizmos designed to save your hand should you crash. The workshop belongs to a company called Knox, behind which is a man named Geoff Travell who, since 1981, has devoted his time to keeping the bones of motorcyclists in one piece. Having started with back protectors and body armour, more recently he?s turned his attention to gloves. The move has resulted in the Knox Handroid, a unique glove that we simply had to feature here.
