The name says it all, this glove is designed to deflect roost, branches, rocks, and anything else that comes your way. The Deflector offers the most coverage in our motocross glove lineup while still providing the flexibility, comfort, and ventilation to make it an exceptional race glove. Combining multiple technical materials on the backhand with a double-layered Clarino palm for increased durability, the Deflector is ready for battle.
Nobody is pickier about gloves than top factory riders, so for 2014 Thor went straight to their top guys and asked for their wish list The result is the 2014 Deflector glove, most performance orientated glove Thor have ever built
They started off with an airmesh backhand for breathability and comfort, then added 2-way stretch across the knuckles and fingers for improved flexibility
The grip fingers are pre-curved to match the shape of your hand on the grip, which reduces fatigue and prevents bunching in the palm area
Next, they went through dozens of palm pad shapes until they found one that wont bunch up, yet provides plenty of coverage
The details are what make the difference, so they sweated even the smallest of details like adding extra padding at the base of the palm to reduce bar vibration, and perforating select areas for increased airflow
