The TCX S-R1 Motorbike Boots have a range of innovative features making it a unique boot:
SPECIFICATION
- Construction - Advanced micro fibre body for increased water retention and abrasion resistance. Padded perforated front section for added comfort and breathability
- AirTech breathable lining - Perfect for warm humid conditions, your feet are protected and wrapped firmly but still have the ability to breath and remain cool.
- Reinforced shift pad - The shift pad is made from a long lasting durable material that aids that stability and the balance of the boots
- Foot Bed - The sole has an anti-bacterial comfort wrap bedding and is reinforced to last longer. This can also be replaced.
- Sole - Race inspired sole designed for good smooth grip on the pegs and toe centre grip
- CE Approved - Tested and approved to the highest standard, a product that can be trusted
- Replaceable toe sliders - High resistant alloy toe slider that can easily be replaced via a hidden screw system
- Zip and Velcro closure - Gives you the ability to wrap the boots to a desired fit around the calf
METATARSAL CONTROL SYSTEM
Through this boot adjustment system the TCX Centre for Research and Development has found the perfect solution for granting every rider excellent comfort as the system is able to adapt to any foot shape. The system comprises an air chamber made from antibacterial, antiallergenic polyurethane that allows you to vary the volume through a pump inserted in the top part of the boot. The air chamber is divided into areas of differing thicknesses, designed to follow the shape of the instep and shank in the best possible way once inflated. Therefore, using this pump it is possible to gradually inflate the air chamber, adjusting pressure on the foot and therefore optimising the fit. Finally, a brass and steel air valve allows fine adjustment and full deflation of the air chamber to make it easier to pull the boot off when you have finished using it.
TORSION CONTROL SYSTEM CARBON TECH
The Torsion Control System allows lateral and longitudinal movement of the ankle within its physiological limits, preventing excessive torsion and the risk of joint fracture. The CARBON TECH Torsion Control System is an evolution of the T.C.S. system featuring the introduction of carbon fibre. Its main advantages are a reduction in the overall weight of the boot, greater mechanical control of the ankle and leg and improved resistance in the event of impact. The new upper joint also improves boot flexibility, increases shin and calf protection and ensures more precise control of lateral and longitudinal ankle movement.
