Manufactured in Technomicro microfibre, the Vortice boot also comes in a summer version called the Vortice Air, which features a perforated upper. The standard Vortice you are looking at here, however, has the advantage of being usable in more varied climate conditions. Furthermore, in these CE approved motorcycle boots protection is at a maximum level, both for abrasion resistance and impact absorption. Multiple reinforcements, plus integrated ankle support braces make sure you are well covered for the risks of motorbike racing. What an awesome piece of gear to have!

MATERIALS
- Technomicro Upper - When constructing most of their boots, Sidi uses a new generation material called "Technomicro". Technomicro is a composite microfiber material created from strands that are so fine, each one is less than one thousand the thickness of silk. These fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the advantage of better strength, softer texture and lighter weight. Technomicro is also water resistant, highly resistant to abrasion and tearing and is easy to clean and maintain. Technomicro doesn't stain and offers reduced weight, more flexibility and a better feel than leather or other synthetic material boots
- Air Teflon Mesh Lining - Lined with air Teflon mesh
- Rubber Top Sole - Provides confidence-inspiring grip in all conditions
TECHNOLOGY
- Replaceable Shin Plate - The shin plate is made in nylon and it is inserted on a polyurethane frontal support. Both parts are replaceable
- Ankle Support Braces with Ankle Joint - The two nylon braces join the ankle joint with two screws that are hidden by a nylon cap. This system supports the ankle and is reinforced with fiberglass and is easy to replace. This system allows excellent flex movement front-to-back while being firm side-to-side
- Shock Absorbing Heel Cup - A polyurethane shell holds a shock absorbing insert, visible from the outside through small slits that mark out the look of the heel. The shell is mobile as it is fixed to the boot by two screws that allow 3 mm of impact movement
- Replaceable Toe Slider with Alloy Insert - The toe slider is made in nylon reinforced with fiberglass. It is fitted with a new air intake and an innovative alloy insert
- Air Ventilation System - On the outer lower part of the boot an air intake is fitted which can be operated by an aerodynamic shaped button
- Zipper Elastic Panel - A small elastic panel aids in a smooth zipper operation as it allows a bit of movement as the zipper passes over the rider's ankle ball
- Nylon Inner Sole with Removable Arch Support Pad
- Reinforced Toe Shift Pad
- TECNO Calf Tensioner - The TECNO Calf Tensioner mechanism adjusts the leg circumference. Placed in the back, it works through a nylon wire that hooks directly to the shin plate. This part is replaceable
- TECNO Shin Tensioner - The TECNO Shin Tensioner mechanism helps the TECNO Calf Tensioner close the leg upper on the front part of the boot
- TECNO Instep Tensioner - An additional fastening system, on the front part of the foot, on the instep. It consists of a wrap-around fascia which can be precision adjusted by the TECNO Imstep Tensioner mechanism
