This waterproof jacket from British brand Weise is a black outer layer which has been designed to be worn over most motorbike jackets. The primary function of the jacket is to offer you complete upper body cover when riding in wet weather. The jacket has been constructed from an impermeable nylon outer, with a polyester mesh inner to allow your skin to breath and prevent the jacket from clinging as you become warmer whilst riding. The jacket has been fitted with an elasticated waist-belt which is an important safety feature, it reduces billowing whilst riding at faster speeds which can often be distracting and uncomfortable.The jacket is fixed together with a plastic, rather than metal, buckle to ensure there is minimal scratching on the bikes tank whilst riding at faster speeds. This can also be adjusted using the two plastic fastenings at each side. The collar of the jacket has a brushed lining which is intended to reduce rubbing and discomfort when moving your face and neck on a ride. The design features have been carefully crafted to ensure the jacket is also practically useful, the two external pockets have been incorporated into the front of the jacket so the rider has easy access to credit cards and/or cash at busy toll roads. These pockets are closed and secured using a strong hook and loop closure to keep items safe and dry whilst riding. The jacket is closed using a waist to neck zip feature which has a further fold over flap, again fastened with hook and loop fasteners, to ensure it remains firmly closed. This jacket matches and offers complete head to toe coverage in wet weather when worn with the Weise Stratus waterproof trousers which are also available from Weise and can be found in the 'similar products' tab above.
