Manufactured entirely in Italy, the Nolan X-804 RS features an advanced ultra-carbon shell engineered to balance strength, impact protection and reduced weight. Meeting the UN/ECE 22-06 safety standard, the helmet incorporates the Nolan Emergency Release System (NERS), designed to assist with helmet removal in emergency situations. A secure D-ring retention system provides dependable fastening, while removable chin straps contribute to the helmet's practical interior construction. The lower rear edge of the shell has also been carefully shaped to improve neck mobility, particularly when adopting the forward-leaning riding position commonly associated with sports motorcycles and circuit racing.

The ultrawide, flat and scratch-resistant visor provides an expansive field of vision, with increased upper and lateral visibility to help riders maintain awareness when adopting an aggressive riding position. A Pinlock® fog-resistant inner visor helps reduce misting in variable conditions, while Nolan's Safety Visor Lock System (SVLS) provides additional visor security during high-speed riding. The advanced visor mechanism incorporates screwed safety fixings and adjustable positioning for precise operation. For dedicated circuit use, the helmet also includes an additional track-only visor prepared for tear-off accessories, with a compatible tear-off kit available separately.

High-speed performance is supported by Nolan's advanced Racing Air Flow (RAF) ventilation system, designed to promote effective airflow and rider comfort during demanding journeys. The removable Racetrack Aerodynamic Spoiler (RAS) contributes to the helmet's aerodynamic design, while the optimised shell profile supports freedom of movement in a racing position. Inside, the premium Carbon Fitting Racing Experience comfort padding works alongside the Liner Adjustable Fitting Advanced (LAF) system to provide a personalised fit. Anatomically shaped 3D cheek pads feature removable padding and moulded polystyrene lining, while the Eyewear Adaptive (EA) system offers additional convenience for riders who wear glasses.

Developed with serious sports riding in mind, the Nolan X-804 RS also features a wind protector and breath deflector, alongside preparation for a compatible Camel Bag hydration system. Additional liner adjustment padding and alternative Steadyfit cheek pads are available separately, allowing riders to refine the interior fit to suit their individual requirements.
