Manufactured entirely in Italy, the Nolan X-904 UC features a lightweight ultra-carbon shell engineered to provide excellent impact resistance while reducing rider fatigue during longer journeys. Meeting the UN/ECE 22-06 safety standard, the helmet incorporates multi-density expanded polystyrene (EPS) protection designed to absorb impact energy across different conditions, with size-specific EPS configurations for an optimised balance of fit and cushioning. The Nolan Emergency Release System (NERS) assists with helmet removal in emergency situations, while the secure D-ring retention system provides dependable fastening. Weighing approximately 1,500 g ± 50 g in size M for the Puro Black version without accessories, the X-904 Ultra Carbon combines protective performance with a lightweight touring-focused construction.

The ultrawide, flat and scratch-resistant visor provides an expansive field of vision, helping riders maintain excellent awareness of surrounding traffic and road conditions. A fog-resistant inner visor helps reduce misting in changing weather, while the integrated Vision Protection System (VPS) sun visor offers five adjustable positions and UV protection up to 400 nm.
