Manufactured entirely in Italy, the Nolan X-904 UC features an advanced ultra-carbon shell engineered to deliver an excellent balance of strength, impact protection and reduced weight. Meeting the UN/ECE 22-06 safety standard, the helmet incorporates a multi-density expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner designed to absorb impact energy across different temperatures, speeds and impact surfaces. Size-specific EPS construction helps optimise the relationship between fit and protective cushioning, while the Nolan Emergency Release System (NERS) assists with helmet removal in emergency situations. A secure D-ring retention system completes the helmet's advanced safety-focused construction.

The ultrawide, flat and scratch-resistant visor provides an expansive field of vision, helping riders maintain awareness of surrounding traffic and changing road conditions. A fog-resistant inner visor helps maintain clear visibility in variable weather, while the integrated Vision Protection System (VPS) sun visor offers five adjustable positions and UV protection up to 400 nm. An emergency retraction control provides additional convenience, allowing the sun visor to be quickly withdrawn when required. Optional tinted and mirrored visors are also available separately, offering further flexibility for different riding conditions and personal preferences.

Long-distance comfort is enhanced by a sophisticated ventilation system featuring adjustable upper and chin-area air intakes, direct airflow towards the head and a rear extractor designed to evacuate warm air. Nolan's advanced Liner Adjustable Fitting (LAF) system allows the top padding to be customised across four areas using three available thicknesses, helping riders achieve a more personalised fit. Anatomically shaped 3D Steadyfit cheek pads feature removable padding and premium Italian Sakura polyamide fabric, while the Eyewear Adaptive (EA) system provides additional comfort for glasses wearers.

Designed for modern touring, the Nolan X-904 UC is prepared for compatible N-Com communication systems, including N-Com Wireless Pro, N-Com Bluetooth+ and N-Com Mesh™, with Nolan confirming certification for compatible helmet and communication system combinations.
