SAFETY
- AIM+ Shell Construction - Shoei's proprietary AIM+ technology combines fiberglass with organic fibres that are so strong they can only be cut with a laser. The end result is a stronger, lighter shell that will absorb and distribute the force of an impact safely and efficiently.
- EPS Liner System with Two Densities - Multiple layers of EPS provide an increased level of shock absorption.
- E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick Release System)- Quick release cheek pads. In the event of an accident the helmet can be easily removed. This reduces the strain and pressure on the neck and allows medical services to react to emergency situations quicker.
- Double D-Ring Fastening - The safest and simplest retention system that can easily be adjusted to the perfect fit.
COMFORT
- 4 Shell Sizes - Instead of relying on foam padding for fitting a wide range of customers, Shoei offers an industry-leading four shell sizes in the new VFX-W to ensure a custom fit for heads between the sizes of XS-XXL. Sizes: XS-S / M / L / XL-XXL.
- Removable and Washable 3D Cheek Pads and 3D Centre Pad - For easy cleaning. In addition, the VFX-W's interior components are three-dimensionally shaped to match the contours of a rider's head.
- Removable and Washable Chin Strap Cover - Easy to maintain and clean.
VENTILATION
- Multi-Vent System - Several intake vents on the chin, brow and upper head areas and rear exhaust vents for air extraction.
AERODYNAMICS
- Integrated Spoilers - Brand new shell construction, in a radical new, sporty design for optimised aerodynamics and performance.
- Peak in a New Design - Extra large for perfect protection from sun and mud. Adjustment slot lengthened for greater versatility.
- Aggressively Shaped Chin Guard - Directs cooling air through a removable and washable foam filter protected by a wire mesh screen.
HOMOLOGATION
- ECE 22.05 - Making it road legal within Europe.
